These videos are intended for grandparents, parents, group leaders etc to view, get a basic understanding of electricity and then share segments or concepts with children. Hands on experiments in the videos should be repeated with children as appropriate. Later videos highlight electronic projects that you could use on your model railroad.

The most basic level of understanding how electricity works starts at the atom. Here we visually depict the atom and its parts and describe how electricity flows.

Voltage, Current, and Resistance are defined and illustrated.

Ohm’s law which is the most basic of equations when dealing with electricity is defined showing the relationship between Voltage, Current, and Resistance.

The use of a multi-meter and other equipment to be used in experiments is demonstrated.
